How to Connect the Accessibility App to Cube ARC
Cube ARC is one of the best call recording devices out there. The call recorder kicks in within 4 seconds of a phone call event. However, setting the Accessibility App Connector to ON seems to rather troublesome. Here is how to enable it.
- Open CUBE ARC
- Go to Miscellaneous
- Go to App Connector Settings
- Click Installed Apps
- Click CUBE ARC App Connector to "ON"
It is at this point that we are taken to the next screen and have many selections. Select Installed Services.
Figure 2 takes us to Cube ARC App Connector which is turned off.

Google Developer Update Workaround 2023
The makers of Cube Call Recorder states that they had to come up with a different solution in the new update of the Cube ACR app released on Google Play as they can no longer ask permission to enable Cube ACR app connector in the accessibility services menu of a device, which was essential for detecting the caller.
A way around this is to install Cube ACR Helper < https://cubeacr.app >.
Follow the instructions and grant permissions when asked. I might add that the instructions look rather complicated on mobile but if viewed on a larger screen they make more sense. Using a second device to follow instructions whilst enabling them on a phone is easy.
NOTE - When making a call to test the Cube ACR Call Recorder remember that recording does not kick in immediately, there is a four second delay before the app kicks in.
