Connect Gmail to OUtlook 16 using Google App password
1. Set up Two-Step Verification
Firstly you will need to set up two step authorisation in your Gmail Account by going to the following link and click Getting Started:-

Once two-step authentication has been set-up go to the following link to make a password and click the link 'App Passwords'.

Select Mail on my Windows Computer (you can choose to give the app a custom name e.g 'Outlook')
2. Connect Gmail to Outlook
In Outlook go to the File Tab and select Account Options. The Account box will pop up. Select New. Then select Manual Setup.
Enter your:-
- Name
- Gmail address
- Account type - POP3
- Incoming Server - pop.gmail.com
- Outgoing Server - smtp.gmail.com
- Paste in the newly created app password
- Click More Settings

Advanced Tab
- Tick 'My outgoing server requires authentication'
- Select box 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server'
Advanced Tab
- Incoming Server - 995
- Tick box 'This server requires an encrypted connection'
- Outgoing Server - 465
- Select SSL from the drop down
- Select your choice of Delivery
Click Next and wait while a test is in progress. Two green ticks will appear. Finish
